Cary Turf - Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman

Requirements
 
High school graduate, preferably possess a two-year degree. Two years related work experience with exposure in landscaping maintenance or installation. This job will require the handling of many duties at once; ability to solve problems and maintain good customer relationships, the ability to handle stress and high pressure on a daily basis; ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels, the ability to oversee, instruct, and inspect the work of a crew consisting of three to five people. Must be able to read, speak, and write in English, possess a current NC driver's license with a clean driving record, and have the ability to pass a drug-screening test. 
 

 
Description
 
Provide direction, supervision, and support for the maintenance crew members.  Directly responsible for ensuring all commercial and/or residential properties are maintained to the highest standard while maintaining a safe working environment for the crew members and customers/personnel in the immediate area.  Properties are to be maintained on a regular (weekly) and timely basis.  Keep accurate records (daily time sheets, property maintenance records, equipment usage logs) on a daily/weekly basis. Promptly and courteously respond/answer all questions by customers while onsite. Monitor crew members to ensure their safety equipment, uniforms, and general health/well-being is good .  Review each crew members performance with supervisor/manager/owner every six months to assist with performance evaluations. Monitors vehicles and equipment for necessary preventative maintenance and repairs and reports such discrepancies as needed (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
 
Salary and Benefits
 
This is a full-time, year round position, working weekdays from 7AM until 5PM, and occasional Saturdays dependant upon weather and work schedule commitments.  Hourly pay is $9.00 +, dependant upon education and previous work experience.  One week of paid vacation after the first year, company vehicle, and incentive/performance bonuses.
